Ho tips:
always inform where u going.. why?
1. Backup
when someone looking for you example your specialist, and he asked nurse or your colleague - you prefer them to answer " dia p toilet sat / dia p request US / dia p trace blood / dia smyg sat " or you prefer they said " entah / xtau p mana"
2. Gain peoples trust
they know your whereabout, after quite some times people will say "dia kalau xda mesti ada keja dia p settle" rather than "tah la dia memanjang hilang". Eventhough you sbnrnya p buat kerja tp sbb x inform people will have negative thoughts on you, so try to avoid it
3. teamwork and communication
good teamwork must always have good communication, they will never doubt their colleague, so when you cover one ward/cubicle with the others make sure they know when you are going and coming back, so that they also can plan theirs.
If u have a colleague that practice like this ( including yourself).. you will survive and work happily no matter which department you go..

Ho tips:
Bila dah senior posting 5th/6th or dah jd MO jgn lupa jasa baik Nurse, MA , PPK, MO, specialist yang kita penah keja dlu .
Jgn sombong dan jgn perlekeh kalau depa ada buat silap...
Ingt dulu 1st posting kita nk insert branula pon terketar-ketar, MA tu juga yg tlg insertkn sbb tggu kita 20 minit cari line..
So klu selisih dgn diorg, tegur n senyum lah at least or kalau kita dpt detect diorg ada buat silap tegurlah baik2, they are the one who help us along the way until where we are rite now.. never forget..

Ho tips:
People talk, they always talk whether it is good or bad, they'll talk. Its human nature. When you work as a HO make sure to offer the best attitude you can.. you will be surprised how fast n almost accurate the info that they know about you even before you enter the department
The nurses, ma, ho, mo , sp (sometimes), ppk , MLT, radiographer, cats, cockroaches they know about you, i dont know how, but they do. Be a doctor that has good attitude, humble, hardworking and sincere.
InsyaAllah you will be fine for the next 2 years of HO ship.

Ho tips:
If you can choose, choose the busiest cubicle in that dept so that u can "sambil menyelam minum air". I chose chronic cubicle for 4 months in medical dept, because i know i will not be reading books after i punch out, so what i did is to learn while working.
Of course chronic cubicle will be so busy, ull be running non stop, the turnover rate is crazy. But the good things is u can learn all the management for most common cases. You can even imagine ur patient while answering exams.
It is either u learn the hard way or the smart way. It's ur call..

Ho tips:
Do not force urself to learn so many things in 1 day without practising it first, esp in tagging period take ur time, learn from the right person and practise it right, n dont forget to teach ur colleague once u r good at it
As my sp said:
"see one, do one, teach one"

Ho tips:
Always prepare a small piece of paper inside ur pocket to list down all ur tasks.
After round with ur mo n sp. Take 5 –10 minutes .
1. List down all the beds u cover
2. Mark them with D (discharge) T (trace blood/US report), B(blood stat), R(request)
3. Circle the urgent one
4. manage ur time properly
eg: if got pt need transfuse blood, go sttle that one first, bcause in between transfusion (4 hours) u can do other things such as D or T etc. Jangan buat benda lain dulu, pastu bila nak pkul 5 baru kalut nk transfuse , nak amek blood stat, then mula lah nk passover pelik2 dkt mmber
5. Always challenge urself, have ur own target, for example by hook or by crook before 2 pm today i must finish all the tasks. All this neverending tasks will train u to become creative and efficient.Train u to always find a plan to make sure u can sttle on time.
Like a game.

Ho tips: Never ever underestimate ur role, esp when u r junior, sikit2 trace blood ix, skit2 hntar darah/amek darah, tlong amek brg tu, prepare brg ni, tlong inform, p cari bos amek sign Its a part of the process. If u do not run to take gxm to help dying pt? who will?
if u dont go trace blood ix,how are we going to know pts K is high need lytic cocktail stat, hb sudden drop from 9 to 5 need urgent tx etc . U r part of the team so be proud. Remember u r helping people everyday.

HO tips:

HO tips:
Kerja jangan berkira. Of course u will be so tired, trying to settle ur neverending tasks, helping to cover up ur MIA colleague who "only god knows" where they are, then assist ur mo, carry out ur sp plan etc. At the end of the day, it will be worth it, u will be..
EFFICIENT
Once they know u r efficient, the people around u will treat u differently, they have trust in u, u will see the difference when people have trust in u. Most important thing,u r building a character inside u,a character that cannot be bought anywhere else.
A Doctor.
