My last posting, yet the busiest of all posting. Even medical pon kalah, everyday i walk average 12k-14k steps per day, maximum 17.8 k steps. So busy , sampai "nak kencing pon xdan". Betul memang tak sempat.

But one thing for sure, truthfully in all department, the one i enjoyed the most was working in ED. Dont know why, maybe u are already senior and familiar with most of the management for each cases.

One more maybe because the ma, ppk, paramedics ,mo and even specialist are all very sporting and helpful. We have 4 specialist and all of them very kind and supportive, always teach and encourage us to experience new things/procedures.

And the environment in ED will be so chaotic especially red zone once patient who is impending collapse came in, we will be running here and there, some setting lines, some prepare for intubation, some do CPR, the experienced of trying to save a life is totally different.

Almost the same with what u saw in drama/tv series but this one is REAL! Maybe thats why i fall in love with ED easily. Ever since medical student i always amazed and respect to see someone who can intubate a patient. You are trying to save a someone's life, the feelings is indescribable.

For me if the feeling when you are able to intubate patient successfully it is like you score a freekick like cristiano ronaldo (CR). Alhamdulillah after few weeks in ED i managed to learn and able to successfully and properly intubate few times with the help and guidance from ED staff.

Cannot lie, the feeling is like I scored a goal in final football match every time after i successfully intubate patient with first attempt. Happy and also proud, able to see a patient who came with poor GCS, impending collapse then later intubated, with vital signs all stable is so satisfying.

ED, the place where you can see all kinds of drama, green, yellow, red zone all had their own sets of drama, and as a HO , if you do ED as last posting u will see most of the previous bos you have been working in the other department will treat you well when you are referring case to them, but with one condition if you have a good relationship with them before lah. That is why u must be a good/hardworking one in all department. They will remember you. It will really pays off, trust me.

whatt 4 months already? how time flies. Alhamdulillah ED done! And today is the last day as a houseman. The period where I have been scared of since medical school, where they said the hardest, disaster, stressful, shittiest, hell like training and so on, finally comes to an end.

So many things happen in the past 2 years, laughter, sadness, stress, tears, anger, proud, excitement etc with constantly ups and downs, again this is life, this is what makes our life full with colours. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah.

Just one tips that i always use, everytime when i face a problem, the big ones, not the small one, the crazy one, like the 10 things that come to you at the same time, the one that will make me "collapse" at home after i punch out, just take a deep breath, bismillah and say...

"this will be one hell of a story in my life. Lets do it!"
